Generally, dogs are considered seniors around age 7, though this varies by breed and size. Larger breeds tend to age faster, while smaller breeds like dachshunds can stay spry well into their teens. If your pup is slowing down, greying around the muzzle, or just living their best couch life — they're probably ready for our treats. 🐾
Can puppies or adult dogs eat your treats?
Our treats are formulated with senior dogs in mind, but most healthy adult dogs can enjoy them too. We don't recommend them as a primary treat for puppies, whose nutritional needs are quite different. When in doubt, check with your vet!

How should I store the treats?
Store treats in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal the bag tightly or transfer to an airtight container. Refrigeration is not required but can extend freshness after opening.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! We ship to all 50 states from our home base in Mount Juliet, TN. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and shipped via USPS or UPS depending on your location.
What is your return policy?
Because our products are consumable treats, we are unable to accept returns on opened items. If your order arrives damaged or there's an issue with your product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at shop@bowwowpetcare.com and we'll make it right — guaranteed.

Every product is developed from real experience caring for a senior dog, Dixie, who lived to 20. Treats and balms use human-grade, small-batch ingredients — no fillers or synthetic fragrance.
Are BowWow Pet Care balms safe if my dog licks them?
Yes. All balm ingredients (beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E) are food-grade and safe in small amounts if licked. They're intended for external use only.
How fast does BowWow Pet Care ship orders?
Orders ship within 1–2 business days and arrive in 4–7 business days via standard shipping within the contiguous United States. Orders over $50 ship free.
What's the best BowWow Pet Care product for a dog with dry, cracked paws?
The Nose, Paw & Hot Spot Balm and Weenier Balm both target dry, cracked paw pads — Weenier Balm additionally adds pine-rosin traction for dogs slipping on hardwood or tile.
Can I return a BowWow Pet Care product if my dog doesn't like it?
Yes, unopened items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened supplements, perishable treats, and final-sale items aren't eligible for return.
