It started in my Momma's kitchen. At 88 years young, my Mom has a way of making everything feel steady. But watching her with Dixie, her feisty senior dog who graced us with 20 incredible years, was where the real magic happened. As Dixie moved into her golden years, we realized that "getting older" didn't have to mean "slowing down" entirely — it just meant we had to learn a new way to love her.
Between raising my two sons, chasing after my grandson, and keeping up with my own two dachshunds, Mr. Weenie and Maggie, and a very patient husband Bobby, my life is full. But I couldn't shake the lessons we learned with Dixie. We spent years navigating the late-night struggles, finding the right supplements for aching joints, and researching how to support her when her mobility started to fade.
BowWow Pet Care 4 Seniors was born from those quiet moments. I wanted to create a place for honest products that actually work — the kind I'd trust for my own Mr. Weenie and Maggie at home. We aren't about fancy gimmicks; we're about dignity, comfort, and real nutrition.
One of my favorite parts of this journey is Momma's Kitchen — where we gathered all the recipes we used for Dixie into a cookbook we call "Nutrition for the Aging Soul." Because when they've given you their whole heart for a lifetime, they deserve a soft place to land and a bowl full of goodness.
Here's something that stopped us in our tracks — as of 2022, 52% of all dogs in America are over the age of 7. That's senior. That's more than HALF of every dog being loved by someone just like you. BowWow Pet Care 4 Seniors was born for them. Because senior dogs deserve more than just getting by. They deserve comfort, nutrition, joy, and every single good day we can give them.

Dixie was more than a dog — she was a teacher, a companion, and the heart behind everything we do. The 20 recipes in our cookbook "Nutrition for the Aging Soul" are a tribute to her 20 extraordinary years. She showed us that senior dogs don't just deserve to survive their golden years — they deserve to thrive in them. Every treat we make, every product we carry, is made in her honor.
